Early-career faculty teaching undergraduate* courses are invited to apply for the next cohort of Faculty Fellows in the Madison Teaching and Learning Excellence (MTLE) program. Applications for spring 2018 will be accepted through November 15, 2017.
The MTLE program aims to enhance student learning and support fast, efficient, effective and satisfied starters in teaching.
The next cohort will begin in spring 2018. The Faculty Institute on Teaching (FIT) will take place on Wednesday, January 17 (full-day) and Thursday, January 18 (half-day), 2018. There are also 90-minute weekly sessions throughout the duration of the MTLE program (spring 2018/fall 2018).
Upon completion of the program, MTLE Faculty Fellows are awarded course improvement funds to promote teaching and learning excellence in their course(s) and to benefit the student learning experience.
(*At a later time, the program may open another cohort for faculty members that only teach graduate/professional students. To be notified of that opportunity in the future, please send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org).
